Return to the main Snooker page. There are few pubs left that are willing to devote valuable space in their premises for a full size Snooker table, or even a 3/4 or 1/2 size snooker table. Regrettably, the inferior game of Pool has almost completely superceded it's more skilfull relative over the last 30 years. The reasons for this are understandable - in these times when pubs are constantly closing due to the smoking ban, corporates owning chains of identikit pubs and the rapidly increasing population resulting in rocketing property prices, most pubs are desperate for revenue and Snooker just doesn't cut it. None-the-less, this page records the remaining jewels in the crown.
